Over the week of August 12 – 19, Nolan Riding had the privilege of taking part in the week-long youth development cycling camp. VYCE is a pilot project between Cycling Canada, Cycling BC, and event partners from the local Victoria cycling community. Together, a week-long, multidisciplinary cycling experience was made to provide young cyclists opportunities to try new disciplines and connect with riders from across BC.
Participants were grouped according to their abilities and were given opportunities to experience road rides, stage races, track cycling, and mountain biking. Nolan Riding took part in the camp by providing an introduction to mountain biking and bike skills development.
