Catching up with the Race Team – Dunbar Summer Series:
July is downhill season! Members of our RACE team traveled across BC to take part in the Dunbar Summer Series and Canada Cup DH races. It was a great opportunity for our riders to see the cumulation of their off-season work transfer to results on the race track.
Fernie Canada Cup
The Fernie track provided challenging steep sections with rotor deep dust ruts and high-speed motorway sections. Race day brought new learning opportunities to the team as Jack & Owen take on their first full DH series. The team experienced a lot of personal success with a couple of bonus podium results. What a great way to start the series!

Kicking Horse Canadian National Championships
One race to win it all! National champs is the one race where everyone competes for a chance to be the fastest rider in Canada and the opportunity to represent Canada on the world stage. With two days of practice, there was plenty of time to learn the track. Unfortunately, more time on the track means bigger holes, blown-out turns, and broken bikes. The team came out strong with a lot of top ten placements and a podium finish for Julian Moutinho.
